lightning ignites a maple
in the dark wilderness
my dream broken
like dropped crockery
fades
the barking is forever
eternal like smashing of swell
against craggily rock

Here’s a picture of our dog Jack taken by my friend Rob over at Murphy Dog Studios. Jack died over the Christmas holidays and we miss him. Jack was a Weimaraner.
