I took some shots of Jack and Sanjo fighting over some toys in the back yard. Here’s ten pound Sanjo biting seventy five pound Jack’s ear.

The light was fading so I used my Sigma 30mm lens. This lens is tricky. If you open the aperture up too far, the focal area of the shot is tiny. Hence the picture of Jack with his eyes in focus, and his nose out of focus. I don’t think this is the best lens for action shots. I took about a hundred pictures and only a handful came out. I think this is a better portrait lens. Lesson learned.

This is his “Throw it! Throw it now! Cmon, throw it! Cmon! Cmon! Throw it!” expression.

And Sanjo is victorious. Of course. Was there ever any doubt?
